Switching DC power supplies were first introduced in the late 1970's, today they are the most popular form of DC power supplies in the market due to their exceptional power efficiency and great overall performance.
Lingfran Switching DC power supply regulates the output voltage through a process called pulse width modulation (PWM). The PWM process generates some high frequency noise, but enables the switching power supplies to be built with very high power efficiency and small form factor. Lingfran switching power supply with a good design and can have excellent load and line regulation.

Working Principle
Above figure illustrates the general transformation from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) in a switching power supply.
Operation Tips
Here are some tips for using a switching power supply properly for your reference.
■ Confirm whether specifications of input or output voltage comply with nominal value of the power supply before use.
■ Check whether input and output leads are correctly connected before powering on for prevention of equipment damages.
■ Check whether various components are tightened up. Check whether there are contacts between screws and electrical parts of power panel. Measure insulation resistance between shell and input or output leads for prevention of electric shock.
■ Make sure the ground terminal is properly connected to the ground to grantee safety and reduce noise waves.
■ Multiplexed output refers to a power supply with primary and secondary output. The primary output performs better than secondary output. In general conditions, the one with larger current is the primary output. To ensure adjustment rate and dynamic indicators of output load, it is required to at least carry 10% of its load. If using secondary output instead of the primary one, users should exert dummy load on the primary output. Please refer to the specifications of different models for more details.
■ Please note that the frequent switching of power supply will have negative influence on its life span.
■ Operating environment and on-load level will influence life span of switching power supply.
Maintenance
Life Expectancy and Recommended Replacement Period.
The life expectancies of Lingfran Switch-mode DC Power Supplies are defined under the following conditions and are designed to be 8 or 10 years minimum.
Note: The life expectancy does not apply to the fan.
• Rated input voltage.
• Load at 50%.
• Ambient operating temperature of 40°C.
• Standard mounting conditions.
The replacement period and life expectancy are reference values only and do not imply a warranty of any kind. Use them as guidelines in designs and applications.
Fan Life and Replacement
Some Switch-mode Power Supplies have built-in fans for forced-air cooling.
The fans in these Switch-mode Power Supplies also have limited lives in addition to the lives of the Power Supplies themselves. The fans must be replaced periodically.
The replacement period for the fans varies with the Power Supply model. Refer to the datasheets for details.
Foreign Matter and Dust
There are slits in the Power Supplies that allow internally generated heat to escape to the exterior.
Foreign matter or dust can enter through these slits, causing the output to be reduced or to stop.
We recommend that you remove foreign matter and dust from around the Power Supply during periodic maintenance.

Express Shipping: DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc. Door to door service.
Land Shipping: By trucks or trains.
Air or Express freight is usually the more expensive, but speedier option (typically 3 to 7 Days). Sea or land freight is normally cheaper, but can take longer. The choice really depends on any budget constraints and also how quickly you want the goods.
Please note that with larger systems (ie. where the packed height of an item exceeds 155 cm – the usual cargo height restriction for cargo on a normal passenger aircraft) air freight may not be an available option if the destination airport is not serviced by a dedicated air cargo freighter service.
